High manganese steel hammers are particularly suitable for crushing conditions that are subject to strong impacts due to their excellent work hardening properties. They serves as a core crusher hammer and essential crusher spare part, designed for high-intensity crushing of coal, ore, and aggregates. Made of high manganese steel (11%–14% Mn), this manganese steel hammer has outstanding impact toughness and work-hardening ability: when hitting hard materials, its surface quickly forms a wear-resistant layer (hardness up to HRC50+) while the inner core stays tough to avoid breaking.
As a key crusher hammer, it cooperates with crusher liner plates to achieve efficient crushing—driven by high-speed rotation, it strikes materials for thorough fragmentation. Compared with ordinary steel hammers, this manganese steel version has a 3–5 times longer service life, reducing the replacement frequency of crusher spare parts. It’s widely used in impact and jaw crushers, ensuring stable operation of crushing lines in mining, construction, and coal-fired power plants.
