Reasonable configuration of crusher accessories according to different ore characteristics is an important part of extending equipment life and ensuring production continuity. When processing high-hardness ores (such as iron ore and granite), jaw plates, liners and hammers made of high-wear-resistant alloy materials should be used first to resist abrasion by strengthening the surface hardness of the material; at the same time, heavy-duty bearings and reinforced frames are required to withstand the impact loads generated by high-intensity extrusion. For ores with high viscosity or high mud content (such as clay ores and bauxite), it is recommended to use sieve plates with self-cleaning functions or roller surface accessories with special corrugated designs to reduce the risk of material adhesion and blockage, and to use corrosion-resistant coatings to extend the service life of accessories in humid environments.
When processing brittle ores (such as coal and gypsum), lightweight composite impact plates and grate bars can be selected, which can not only reduce equipment energy consumption, but also control the crushing particle size by optimizing the structural design. If the ore contains metal inclusions, a detachable overload protection device must be installed inside the crushing chamber, and an elastic coupling must be configured in the transmission system to buffer the damage to core components caused by sudden impact. For corrosive minerals (such as sulfide minerals), seals and contact surface accessories made of stainless steel or special ceramics should be selected to avoid premature failure caused by chemical corrosion. In general, the selection of accessories should be closely based on the abrasiveness, humidity, composition characteristics and crushing conditions of the ore, and seek the best balance between wear resistance, impact resistance and environmental adaptability.
